“Our sorrows and wounds are healed only when we touch them with compassion.”  Jack Kornfield

Are you having difficulty getting pregnant? Is this stressing you out?   Do you feel like you are on an emotional roller coaster? Do you feel angry, sad, frustrated, and anxious? Do you ask yourself—why is this happening to me? Are you jealous of others who get pregnant easily and then feel guilty for having these thoughts?  Is the fertility process interfering with your sex life? Your social life? These are some of the difficult issues we can work on together, using mindfulness- based therapy.

Together we can practice Metta meditation. Metta means loving-kindness and this meditation offers loving and kind actions towards ourselves, other beings, and the universe. It can calm deep worries and fears and help us move towards a renewed sense of well-being.  Metta meditation allows us to “be” with ourselves just the way we are. Begin by repeating these four simple phrases:

May I be happy.
May I be healthy.
May I be free.
May I love myself unconditionally, just the way I am.
